I enjoy sharing welding information!

I have been welding my entire life. Started as a 15 year old and I have always been doing something related to this trade. My only non-welding jobs were working at a hardware store for a few months, and working at a horse rental barn. As a primary source of income…Welding Has Been Great For Me.

My dream as a kid was to be the person in a group that could weld with anything and knew how to figure out how to weld things I didn’t know about. Well, I can do some of those things but I am by no means “The Best”. What I do know…I enjoy sharing it.

I am a sole proprietor. “Welding Inspection Services” has been the name of my company over the years. I have almost always worked some type of full time job and did my “side business” when I could.

As of this writing, I teach part time at night for the TCAT in Elizabethton TN. During the day, I provide various welding related services. This can be welding, Welding Inspection, Training, Consulting and WELDER TESTING.

I 1st became involved with welder testing in the early 80’s. I was introduced to code/specifications as a US Navy Nuclear Power Plant Components Welder (HT4956). As part of our Training at C-1 Welding School In San Diego, we toted code books around. It was part of our training. Well, I enjoyed reading anything about welding. That has continued!

Over the years, I developed welding skills in various industries and along that path, I continued increasing my “book learnin” and have gone back and forth over the years from welding, inspecting, teaching and consulting. I can do a little bit of all of em, not the greatest at any one of em but I am confident in telling you that I am passionate about helping you with the knowledge and skills I do have. Along with that, I have made mistakes.

If you are interested in the more “personal stuff”. I am a Christian, A Husband, a Father, A Friend. I often fail at each of those but I’m thankful for the Savior I have in Jesus and the patience of my family and friends.
